Thanksgiving and 3rd Hint for Big Announcement

So this weekend is Thanksgiving. Finally, a break from school and some very good food. I hope all of you have an enjoyable holiday.

My project has been coming along nicely. However, I have been delayed slightly because I am still missing one signature from a person who happens to be on vacation. Woopdedoo. It will work out on time. I guess its time for the 3rd hint since I've been giving you all clues as to what it could be.

*3rd HINT* It is a smaller form of something bigger. *3rd HINT*

Yeah, I guess that's a pretty weak hint, but I don't want to give away the project yet. Maybe you'll get it.

SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

If you tell one person to check out my blog or my writing and make sure they comment, giving you props, I will be sure to thank you in my next big published piece. No joke. And if they tell one person I will do the same for them. And so on.

Oh and I started another zine. It's electronic only. So feel pumped. Check it out here - 50 to 1. Submit some stuff.

2nd Hint for Big Announcement

So I began the big secret project a few weeks ago. The only thing keeping me from announcing it was some signatures. [please see 1st hint aka last post.] It's coming along. I am pretty proud of it actually. I hope it is as successful as I want it to be. What would really be cool is support from you guys and anyone you can tell. This could be a big part of my career. Which leads me into the next hint.

*2nd Hint* Promotion of the project once it is completed is going to be very important. *2nd Hint*

I want this to happen. I want this to be big. I feel like it will be big. At least it has potential to be good. I just hope people like my idea. Trash talking this early in my career won't exactly help my inspiration to continue what I'm doing.

Anyway, I've been helping people try to get published on 6S lately and it makes me feel good. I think everyone should have their 15 minutes of fame.

1st Hint for the Big Announcement

Right now I'm editing a story that I plan on submitting to decomP. And if Mr. Jordan doesn't wish to use it, then I'll probably just revise it some more and submit it elsewhere I suppose. This particular revision covered in red ink and coffee stains so I think that's funny. I should pull a Tao Lin and try to sell it on eBay. [Link that, ryan manning.] That would be even funnier. That guy is a marketing genius. But what is cool about it is the fact that it is somewhat related to the big announcement that I have yet to make. I know the suspense is killing you.

*1st HINT* I am two signatures away from releasing the big announcement onto the public. *1st HINT*

Anyway, I have to get back to editing this piece of garbage. I really don't like it's title at all...

The History of the English Language

Today I am studying for a final exam tomorrow in, you guessed it, The History of the English Language. My task: to date four selections (out of 15) of any and all time periods. Then provide significant evidence why it is dated in that time period. I can't just say 'Oh, that is written in the Old English period.' No, I have to say 'That was written in 1030 because...'

Yes it is going to be difficult.

It is supposed to snow today. By snow I mean flurry. You see here at the Jersey Shore we get limited amounts of snow. This is disappointing. However, this does make me happy. Snow means offical winter temperatures. Which means official snowboard season. Shredfest 08-09. I can't wait.

Now to go adjust/tune my board.

Also, the big announcement will be made in a little less than three weeks. Be excited. Build suspense. Feel the rush.

6S and More Info on the Big Project

I got published on 6Sentences! Go me! Here is a link straight to the piece.

So today is dedicated to the following:

1. Finishing homework that's due tomorrow.
2. Working on my 'big project' that has yet to be announced. Allow the suspense in your veins to grow. Get excited.
3. Also, this one is for you guys. Check out this 50 word story. I can't even begin to describe.

Rejected again...

I submitted to Dogzplot yesterday.

It got rejected in less than 24 hrs.

Is that bad?

50 Words

Here are two 50 word stories that I plan on submitting to a 50-word project. Thought you might like to read them.

1.
50 words before dawn
I walked out to the end of the jetty at the inlet before dawn. It was dreary outside and I wanted the overcast to just melt. I guess I was hoping for the sunrise to warm my eyes. But instead I burnt my stomach by spilling coffee down my chest.

2.
50 words after waking up
There was something tickling the back of my legs. It was a spider. I hate spiders. I slapped it off my calf in a girlish manner as I realized the owners of the backyard were staring at me out their window. One smiled, the other laughed. And I was naked.

Tell me what you think.

Dirt. The Big Project.

Read this story. It's funny.

I think dirt is a cool word. I mean, the object is okay, but the word itself is pretty cool. Dirt. Worms live in it and my feet get covered in it when I walk around barefoot in my back yard. I think it's pretty cool. Okay enough word of the day.

I'm going to do something productive and start my big secret project. The announcement on this 'big project' will be made within the next few weeks on this weblog. So stay tuned.

Vote.

This video was made by my friend for his video class. Observe:

So I apologize for all the YouTube update crap lately. But today is election day. And you should go voice your opinion... No matter what it is. Sure I'm voting for Obama but you don't have to. I mean, I think you should. But I'm not going to force it like other assholes.

Anyway, this entire flood of last minute campaign kisses has gotten pretty annoying, for both parties. Sometimes I wish that the socialist party would grow a little bit. Whatever. I'm avoiding homework and I don't even have that much. I'm at work at the desk right now and I could be done and writing a new story soon. I have began working on a novella. I will announce it to the public sometime in the near future. Check this out because it's kind of neat. As for now I leave you with this...

GO VOTE!

It's been a long day

There is a band called This Day Forward.

They are sick, but unfortunately they broke up a while ago. I miss them.

Anyway, I spent four hours today writing a paper for one of my education classes. That is one of three. AKA I have two more to do. They are due Tuesday. But I can't write them tomorrow because I am busy all day. Hockey practice, class, other homework and meetings. Therefore I will stay up all night to write them. Right now I am wired on Red Bull.

The worst part is the fact that I haven't been able to write anything new lately, nor have I been able to submit it to any Lit magazines. Lo-Fidelity has seen little to no progress. And Bonfire has been pushed back beyond delay. My life is at a complete whirlwind right now. I don't like it. Give me some ideas to write about. And tell all my professors that I need time to forward my potential career.

I just want to write. And party with Jesus.
