So things have been in motion, whatever that means.

The Broad Set is set up to read this Saturday, August 1st at the Starry Night Cafe in Belmar, NJ @ 7pm. Check out some details here. There is also a reading set up at Brick Bat Books in Philadelphia sometime in September. I will post those details when I get them. But come out to see our reading this Saturday. There will be free books provided by Lo-Fidelity.

Um, I don't know what to say but I felt obligated to update because I haven't in a while.

50 to 1 is going to finally get updated by me once I finish this post. I'm not productive I apologize.

I submitted stories for the first time in a few weeks. Feels good, even though they probably will be rejected.

Fell from the sky

It's been a while. Aloha.

I'm old now. Twenty two.

It was a busy weekend. Friday I celebrated my birthday with lots of friends and family. Then Saturday was Kiley Rummler's graduation party. Then Sunday I spent the entire day at the beach. Excellent weekend, just tiring.

Anyway, The Broad Set has some news. There is an interview with Brandon Scott Gorrell by myself and Pete Richter. He is an interesting character. Check that out. Also, The Broad Set has a reading scheduled. August 1st, 7pm - Belmar, NJ @ Starry Night Cafe. Some info here.

Stupid, Stupid Updates

The good times are killing me.

Friday is my birthday. I will be 22. I feel old, like unwanted old. The kind of old you see in the street and say, 'That's old, I don't like that.'

But it's okay, because today is Crispin Best's birthday! Happy Birthday, Mr. Best.

Many things have been happening:

• Lo-Fidelity and The Broad Set Writing Collective have decided to create a combined print issue. Due out by the end of 2009 (hopefully). More details on that to come.
• Lo-Fidelity has not only began editing for issue 4, but also been posting work on the site. Check it out - latest story The Battle by Nick Sansone.
• The Broad Set has set up a reading in Belmar, NJ later this summer. Date is yet to be determined.
• DJ Berndt is having trouble stapling the first print edition of Pangur Ban Party. Go give him a hard time.
• Pete Richter posted a piece at The Broad Set. Check it out.
• My script is almost done. It probably sucks.
• Started a story for the wildebeest contest. That probably also sucks.

I think that's all I have. I'm sorry.

Productivity at its best

Today was somewhat productive in my writing sense.

I wrote a short piece of prose and posted it on The Broad Set. Read it here and leave some feedback. Cool.

I also updated 50 to 1. Check out the latest issue.

I also started writing a script. Still somewhat new for me, but it's coming along I suppose.
