Particles (a poem)

Sharp toe nails

and

Hammers with hard bodied faces
Level together in the X, Y axis of space.

Planets with oceans for land float by

while

Auras in purple and white
Scatter out into the particled universe.

Warm worn-in leather

against

Stretched out denim,
Aged and frayed with love.

Interstellar travel between times

and

Patterns of galaxies
Shaped into possessions and gravity.

Trains woo by

and

Bones rattle between cars
Flashing high beams in warning.

Part of you dies

everytime

Transmitted brain waves dissipate
Over the horizon and into nothingness.

The sun rises and a new day particles into existence.
