Transformers. Dreaming of Megan Fox.

Back from my mini-vacation. It was cool. I got to shoot guns. Like rifles, handguns, etc. If I was a gun expert, I would tell you the names of all the ones I shot. But I am not a gun expert. My apologies. I did other stuff, too. Like visit the Mall of America.

Transformers 2 came out last night at midnight. I think I'll go see that this weekend. Maybe.

Facebook keeps bugging me to change my URL username. But I think I'm going to ignore that, because its annoying.

Two things I have to do right now:

1. Write for the first time in days.
2. Update 50 to 1.

But to be honest I'll probably only do the first one. My bad.

It's dark outside and I'm inside writing this post because I obviously have no life.

Anyway, I almost went to see The Hangover again tonight, but decided against it since I'm tight on cash as is. It was worth it, but I just don't have the DOLLA$.

Get Money

I've been nothing but a waste of oxygen lately. I like to pretend I'm doing things and keeping busy, but really I haven't done anything of much importance. I've been exercising more, reading for a book review I need to do for The Broad Set, and just... existing. My life? It needs more excitement. Speaking of The Broad Set, Pete posted a new review. Check it out.

I've been listening to a lot of hip hop lately. Good idea? Or excellent idea?!

...I'm so alone.

I've started majorly editing my novella. Need to send the manuscript out to presses soon. Any ideas on where to send it? I'm looking for a press that likes to read realistic fiction? Or as the novella has been genre-dubbed, K-mart realism. If you have any ideas, seriously, leave a comment. I'll love you and send you a copy of it.

O also, I found some extra old copies of my self-published chapbook, drive. If anyone wants a copy, the first 4 people to ask for it get one (because I only found 4).

Almost saved up enough for a new computer. Very close will I be able to get back onto my daily presence on the internet. I'm excited.

Other news: Milo Stevens has a new story up. Its a quick read, but very good. Check it out.

Pangur Ban Party released its latest, When We Take Off Our Heads, by J.A. Tyler. Another excellent read. Decent length, but well worth it. Check it out, support PBP.

Jason Jordan has a new story, Shuttle Cock, in the latest issue of Monkey Bicycle. Will have to pick that up as soon as I have some cash.

Mickey Hess has a reading this Saturday in Philly at Wazobia Cafe, 5pm. Make it if you can, you won't be let down.

Look What I Did (and a new story!)

I made this Wordle with one of the stories I've been working on for the Opium bookmark contest. Wordle is a fun site. Especially when you're in a writer's block. Anyway, had to share that.

I have a new story up over at For Every Year. Check out the direct link. It's called 'Male Postpartum Depression.' You may or may not like it. It can be offensive, but maybe not. What do I know. Anyway, check it out. Its short.
